Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo With a Roller Mop

A roller mop rinses itself continuously inside the robot, so it wipes with a cleaner surface than a pad that only gets washed back at the dock: our top roller pick is the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow. Rollers cover more floor per pass and suit hardwood and vinyl, according to The Verge. The trade-off is reach: rollers can’t swing into corners the way extending spinning pads can.

Best roller mop#1

Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow

This Roborock roller-mop robot rinses its mop as it goes instead of smearing the same dirty pad around, and it lifts the roller on rugs. The Hook Up named it its overall and mopping winner in a 2026 comparison, and Tom’s Guide lists it among its best robot mops.

Why it stands out

  • SpiraFlow self-cleaning roller with a scraper that sends dirty water to the robot’s own tank (brand).
  • Roller lifts up to 15 mm and a cover slides over it on carpet, per Roborock and Gizmodo.
  • Dock empties the bin, washes the roller in water up to 75°C and dries it with warm air (brand).

Good fit if

  • Most of your floors are hardwood, vinyl or tile with a few low rugs.
  • You care more about wide, even mopping than edge-perfect corners.
  • You want a strong roller mop and don’t mind topping up the robot’s water yourself.

Skip it if

  • You need perfect corners: Gizmodo saw gaps of up to 8 inches along some edges.
  • Low furniture matters: it is about 4.7 in tall.
  • You have dense, long pet hair; Tom’s Guide saw it struggle with clumps.

Gizmodo’s dried-stain test cleared milk and mayo in one pass but needed two runs for BBQ sauce. Treat it as a strong daily mop, not a scrubber for set-in messes.

Best mid-range roller#2

eufy Omni C28

The C28 brings a self-washing roller mop and a full dock down to a mid-range price. Yahoo Shopping picks it as its best robot mop and vacuum combo overall, and it scored highest in Tom’s Guide’s 2026 pet-hair test.

Why it stands out

  • HydroJet self-cleaning roller mop (brand).
  • Dock with a 3 L bag rated for about 75 days, auto refill, warm-air drying and an 8 L wastewater tank (brand).
  • Scored 87 in Tom’s Guide’s pet-hair test, ahead of pricier models.

Good fit if

Skip it if

  • You need strong obstacle avoidance or a low profile; Vacuum Wars measured it at 4.4 in tall.
  • Edges matter most; Yahoo flags weak edge cleaning.
Best premium roller#3

eufy Omni S2

eufy’s flagship roller-mop robot presses its roller down with 15 N of force and lifts it a brand-rated 1.1 in on carpet. Tom’s Guide picks it as the best robot mop for pets, and The Hook Up rated its carpet pickup best in its 2026 comparison.

Tips

Three things that make the difference

01

Expect weaker corners

The Verge says roller mops largely miss corners and baseboards, and Gizmodo saw gaps of up to 8 inches along some edges on one roller robot.

02

Check the lift against your rugs

A roller must clear the rug. The Verge notes a 10 mm lift won’t suit thick carpet; brand lifts here range from about 10 mm to 1.1 in.

03

Use roller-friendly settings

eufy says a too-low water setting can leave uneven wetting and water marks, and recommends running the roller’s self-clean and dry cycle.

Honest note

Rollers aren’t automatically better at stains. In Vacuum Wars’ dried-stain test, spinning pads generally did better, with one eufy roller as the standout exception. Rollers also can’t be detached like some spinning pads, so lift height matters more.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Is a roller mop better than spinning pads?

On smooth floors, often. The Verge says rollers suit hardwood and vinyl and cover more area, while spinning pads suit tile and edges. Vacuum Wars found spinning pads generally better on dried stains.

How does a self-cleaning roller mop work?

The robot sprays clean water onto the roller and scrapes dirty water off as it turns. Roborock says the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow sends dirty water to its own tank, so the roller keeps wiping with fresh water.

Do roller mops clean corners?

Not as well as extending pads. The Verge says rollers largely miss corners and baseboards. Some, like the eufy Omni S2, extend 15 mm toward edges, but expect an occasional manual wipe in corners.

Can a roller mop go on carpet?

No, it lifts or avoids carpet. Roborock rates the Curv 2 Flow lift at 15 mm and Gizmodo saw a cover slide over the roller on rugs, but it still needed rug zones checked in the app.

How often do you replace a roller mop?

Check your brand’s schedule. Roborock and eufy give 3–6 months as a replacement window for mop pads, and worn mops tend to show it as streaks or a sour smell after washing, per eufy.

Which is the best roller-mop robot?

The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow for most homes: The Hook Up named it overall and mopping winner, and Tom’s Guide lists it as a top robot mop. The eufy Omni C28 is the value alternative.
